Deadline for travel reimbursement request: 27 February
to: National Platforms Directors, CONCORD Delegates, Hubs, PDC, Board
This is to remind you to register as soon as possible the workshop that CONCORD will organise in Rome on 23 and 24 March, on Horizon Scanning for the Europe We Want. The CONCORD workshop will start on Thursday 23 March at 11am, and end of Friday 24 March at lunch time.
Please register for the workshop as soon as possible and indicate no later than 27 February whether you will need reimbursement through the registration form.
This workshop will aim to reflect on the fast changing environment in which we operate, and how this may affect our messages and ways of working, especially with the perspective to constructively propose a vision of the Europe we need for the changes we want in the world. Thus the workshop should help generate clear messages on the Europe We Want, our strategy for promoting it, as well as recommendations to the hubs on how to adapt the way we work today, towards a more strategic, coherent and impactful way.
Besides the workshop, we encourage CONCORD members to stay longer in Rome and take part in other activities (workshops, march, stunts) organised on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 March by groups of CSOs, that are mobilised to call for a different, better Europe, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Treaty of Rome.
For organisational reasons, the participation in CONCORD workshop is limited to 40 persons. Within budget limits, CONCORD may cover the travelling expenses of some participants who could not afford coming otherwise (transport and/or 1 hotel night). In addition to the criteria of need and last resort, reimbursement will be granted in priority to participants who are from the leadership of national platforms (including those that will hold the EU Presidency in the few years to come), hubs and workstreams leaderships, PDC, Board. If budget is still available after these priority participants, we may grant further reimbursement on the basis of a geographically balanced participation.
